Troy Carson is a longstanding presence in the San Jose, California, business community who serves as president of Griffin Security. Certified Level 2 with Homeland Security in executive protection, he is qualified as a private patrol operator and licensed as a private investigator. Troy Carson schedules private unarmed security guards on diverse assignments, from full patrols to routine fire watch monitoring. His more than 100 team members share an unwavering commitment to protecting property while upholding lives and human rights.
Mr. Carson’s industry experience extends to the mid-1980s, and he accepted a position with Pluto Security after earning his bachelor’s degree in criminal justice at San Jose State University. For many years, he guided Atlas Private Security as CEO and owner. He subsequently led Security Code for more than a decade. His areas of responsibility include hiring, scheduling, marketing, safety training, and ensuring state and federal compliance.
Mr. Carson has also led Troy's Bocce Ball and Wine Bar and Morgan Hill Bowl. Bringing a 32-lane bowling alley back from the verge of bankruptcy, he oversaw $2 million in renovations, including the launch of a pair of restaurants on site. With a competitive background in soccer, he has coached and refereed in the sport and enjoys outdoor pursuits such as skiing and boating in his free time.
